Each year, colleges and universities throughout the country recognize September as National Campus Safety Awareness Month. While App State focuses on ensuring your safety and wellness year-round, September offers App State an annual opportunity to share resources with new Mountaineers and encourage ongoing dialogue on campus about safety and wellness in Boone and Hickory.
App State’s annual Health, Wellness and Safety Fest on Sanford Mall is slated to take place Tuesday, Aug. 25, on Sanford Mall in Boone from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event is organized by Wellness and Prevention Services and is a great space to interact with campus departments and community partners that provide safety, health and well-being resources and services. All students and employees are invited to stop by this event and participate.
